hilary beattie 2014

If you had the opportunity to get to the Festival of Quilts at the NEC which ran from 7th to 10th August 2014.

you may well have seen Hilary B demonstrating on Stand DEMO M

Below is a selection of her work which has been created by her using a variety of techniques and products.  We are fascinated with the way she uses appliglue to create rubbing plates.

This is a technique she developed herself, and describes in her new book 'Make it Personal'

Visit her site where you can see other examples of her work, book yourself on one of her inspiring workshops or purchase the book

The Artist's jug is a Work in Progress. This is one of the pieces that will be on display on her stand at the NEC. It is a good example of what can be done to add dimension through stitch, crayon and appliglue.
