| Fashion and Textile Design graduate collection. My collection unfolds the relationship between the visual representation of corruption in today’s society and textile design. Through exploration and research into the current negative state of affairs, my collection aims to convey the extent to which politics, rebellion and conflict affect our everyday lives. Focussing predominantly on riots and protest, I considered all relating visual attributes which then led to the design of my collection. My research process involved visits to museum exhibitions as well as photographing urban areas and citizens. After creating an extensive body of drawing, I made my collection through the use of digital and screen-print. |
